Do you have a Christmas book wish list?
In December I'll write a post on all the books I read in 2019. It's not as much as usual, but with moving to a new country and having a baby, I think I have a good enough reason for it. It's always fun to look back and choose a favourite book of the year. My brain is mushy, so I can't even remember what I read, but that's what my trusty Goodreads account is for.
Do you have a Christmas book wish list? I love getting books. Even if I don't have the time to read them all, there's something exciting about getting a book as a gift. Second hand, new, paperback, hard cover - I love them all. I had to get rid of a lot of books when I moved to Australia, and so I'm planning on stocking my bookshelf again. There are lots of new books that I'd love to read, but two of the most recent ones that I'm dying to get my hands on are:
- The Institute by Stephen King
- The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
Then some books that I've read and I'd love to now own are:
- Nineteen Eighty Four by George Orwell
- Animal Farm by George Orwell
- Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
- The Eight by Katherine Neville
I'm sure there are many more old and new books I want to get my hands on, but these are the ones that came to mind first. Do you usually get books for Christmas? If so, what's on your list this year?
